2. The Jury's still out on what the future holds for Medford's historic federal courthouse

The Jury's still out on what the future holds for Medford's historic federal courthouse

The future of the 110 year old historic James Redden Courthouse is uncertain, but the hope is that it can be repurposed for another use.  In 2025 Easterly Government Properties announced it was building a two-story courthouse in Medford that will house space for probation, federal prosecutors, senators, and the US Marchals.  The building will be offered to other agencies and nonprofits before it is offered to the public.
