The Rogue has been a source of drinking water, irrigation, fishing, recreation, from Native Americans to present dayl It travels 215 miles from Crater Lake to the Pacific Ocean at Gold Beach. One of the articles features is material about Glen Woodridge who was an early pioneer who even changed the river. He was the first to travel it's length to the ocean, but also for his work changing a wild section that was unnavigable by blowing boulders that blocked passage up with dynamite. He made it passible to get a boat through that section in the 30's.
