World War ll and Southern Oregon

Dennis Powers page long history of events of World War ll centered on three themes:  Camp White, Japanese Submarine Attacks, and Fire Bombs,  The three sections explain Oregon's importance during the war with its excellent training facilities, the importance of protecting our coast from a Japanese submarine called I-25, and the Fu-gos balloon bombs which killed a woman and five children near Gearhart Mountain.  The baloons carrying incendiary bombs travel 5000 miles to attack our country.
