Three Oaks: A History

The Three Oaks Country Store was once the home of James and Margaret Savage.  It is one of the oldest buildings in Southern Oregon, built in 1859.  Originally they owned 320 acres with a Donation Lake claim.  They raised thirteen children there and got along well with the Indians.  In 1973 the house was purchased by the Lindquists.  The house was in poor repair, but when they found out its history, they did extensive remodeling making it a sandwich and ice cream parlor.
