The SOHS Library is OPEN to the public at 106 N. Central Avenue in Medford, with FREE access to the SOHS Archives, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments are not necessary. Please contact library@sohs.org, or call 541-622-2025 ex 200 to ask questions or request research.

 

The Bryden House

The Bryden House as it now stands was built in 1910in the Oak Lawn subdivision which had been designated that "no building less than $2500 be constructed in that area.  It had belonged to a lawyer, and an author, the John Orth family,  and the Allen Drury fmaily before the Brydens purchased it in 1970 for $18,900.
