Bill Dellinger, who was one of the most influential figures in tradck and field, died June 27 at the age of 91. He worked as an assistant coach under Bill Bowerman until his retirement in 1973. Under his guidance his runners broke 18 records, won many NCAA titles and Olumpic appearances.
