Alice Ruhl MacArthur obituary May 9,1921-June 22, 2025

Alice Ruhl MacArthur lived an exciting life, enjoying an early career in journalism, ending her life at 104 years at her home in Foulkeways, in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania.  She was  a wife and mother of six children who returned to Medford in 1966 after her husband was killed  in a mountain climbing accident.  She cared for her aging mother as well as becoming a faithful volunteer in the community.  She spent most of her time  in service and the care of others.  She joined her elder sister in Pennsyvania at that Life Plann community where she made many friends and volunteered.  She supported the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy where the MacArthur family have had a pivital role.
