Annie Creek Canyon near Crater Lake/ 2002.20.17. It shows that so-called "pinnacles" have some variability in their appearance, as they are "fossil fumeroles" or where gases once escaped from glowing avalanches in the Plinian phase of Mount Mazama's climactic eruption.
