4 Prisoners escape from the Jacksonville jail, including Bassett, the stage robber, Clup, who committed a murder at Willow Springs, and Geo. Justus. Justus was apprehended the next morning by Sheriff Jacobs of Medford. The fourth prisoner told the jailer of the incident.
