Ray's wife Hazel and baby Jack, long time in jail, January 9, 1959: 55 year-old Hugh paroled from Oregon State Penitentiary and went to San Francisco jurisdiction and died of cancer, Ray paroled October 26, 1961 staying in Oregon as custodian at University of Oregon with Gov. Tom McCall commuting his 2 consecutive life terms; Roy was confined to State mental hospital in Salem: harmless but hopelessly insane. 1973 Ray was in documentary on KGW-TV, Portland where he told his version of the holdup [and visited Roy for first time since 1949]; his wife had long-waited for him but finally remarried;
