Where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses the steep mountainside, Doug Frank and Linda Buturain lead the fight to stop BLM's plans to clearcut near Greensprings. A 13 acre clearcut is planned along one section of the trail near Hobart Lake. The shallow, 10 acre lake is one of the last undisturged mid-elevation lakes in the southern Cascades.
