Southern Oregon's John Day graduated from Medford High and passed in 1986. His father was a prominent rancher , forest-fire fighter and ranger at Crater Lake. His son John was a Harvard Business School graduate, a real estate developer, and he married Mary Parsons who was eventually part of Roxy Ann Winery.
